RYA Courses at all Levels
Hobies are fast, exhilarating sailing machines which can be tailored to suit any level of ability. Cat sailing on the Milford Haven Waterway must be one of the most pleasurable activities on offer in Pembrokeshire. Small sandy coves, waterside pubs, Napoleonic forts and a diversity of wildlife from the rugged sea coast to the serene wooded upper reaches of the Cleddau are just some of the discoveries to be made.
Our RYA Hobie tuition can be tailored to suit any ability from absolute beginners to seasoned RYA level 5 sailors. Intermediate dinghy sailors and windsurfers (competent in harness and footstraps) looking for out and out speed, acceleration and power will find the conversion to cat sailing easy and find a new challenge and excitement added to those force three days.
Using Hobie 15's our friendly and highly experienced RYA senior instructors will assess your ability and teach you what Catamaran sailing is all about - whether you opt for flat water blasting in the Bay flying past every other boat on the water, or surfing, challenging ocean swells out in the Haven entrance. The choice is yours and either way you'll be safe in the knowledge that our centre safety boats are always on standby.
