Junior windsurfing courses

West Wales Wind Surf and Sailing is a fully accredited RYA training centre with highly qualified and experienced instructors. There are a range of courses on offer to cater for all ages and abilities from beginners to experienced sailors. Teaching takes place in the mile wide bay at Dale on a variety of kit.

RYA Windsurfing Youth Stage 1
From 8 - 16, an ideal opportunity to learn the essentials of windsurfing at an early age. No previouswindsurfing required
Duration:  2 days                                      Cost: £135.00 (can be done as a series of half days)

RYA Windsurfing Youth Stage 2
In stage 2 your instructor will teach you the practical skills to get you sailing around a course practising tacking and gybing, enabling you to make progression towards and away from the wind

RYA Windsurfing Youth Stage 3
This uses the RYA's Fastfwd coaching formula

RYA Windsurfing Youth Stage 4
After this stage you should be confident in tacking, gybing and using a harness and basic footstrap technique
