Junior sailing courses

West Wales Wind Surf and Sailing is a fully accredited RYA training centre with highly qualified and experienced instructors. There are a range of courses on offer to cater for all ages and abilities from beginners to experienced sailors. Teaching takes place in the mile wide bay at Dale on a variety of boats.

RYA Youth Sailing Stage 1

From 8 - 16, an ideal opportunity to learn the essentials of sailing at an early age. No previous sailing required

Duration:    2 days                              Cost:  £135.00 (can be done as a series of half days)

RYA Youth Sailing Stage 2

From 8 - 16, a basic but comprehensive sailing course similar to an adult course tailored to suit the young

RYA Youth Sailing Stage 3

From 8 - 16, covering rigging, launching, and recovery, sailing techniques and sailing a triangular course

Duration:     2 days                               Cost: £135.00 (can be done as a series of half days)

RYA Youth Sailing Stage 4

From 8 - 16, covering some of Stage 3 and sailing a crewed dinghy around a triangle in moderate conditions
