RYA Sailing courses

West Wales Wind Surf and Sailing is a fully accredited RYA training centre with highly qualified and experienced instructors. There are a range of courses on offer to cater for all ages and abilities from beginners to experienced sailors. Teaching takes place in the mile wide bay at Dale on a variety of boats.

 
RYA Level 1 Start Sailing (coastal)
This course introduces you to the sport of Sailing. No previous knowledge is required.

Duration:  2 days                          Cost: £165.00 (can be done as a series of half days)

RYA Level 2 Basic Skills (coastal)
This course requires either the Start sailing or some knowledge of sailing.

Duration:  2 days                          Cost: £165.00 (can be done as a series of half days)

RYA Day Sailing (coastal)
This course teaches passage planning and decision making for small boat cruising

Duration: 2 days                           Cost: £165.00 (can be done as a series of half days)

RYA Seamanship Skills (coastal)
This course teaches you how to handle a boat in all circumstances and solve problems afloat.

RYA Performance Sailing (coastal)
This course helps to improve your boat handling and confidence in performance dinghies

RYA Sailing with Spinnakers (coastal)
This course covers everything you need to know about sailing with a kite, whether conventional or asymmetric

Duration:  2 days                         Cost: £165.00 (can be done as a series of half days)

RYA Start Racing (coastal)
Having learnt to sail you may with to start racing and join a club. This course takes you through the fundamentals of getting off the start line and round the course

Duration:  2 days                        Cost: £165.00 (£135.00 for under 14) (also done in half days)
