Windsurfing Instructor

To become an instructor you need to be of RYA intermediate non-planning standard this is the equivalent of between the old Level 2 and Level 3.  You should be able to set up your board and rig for the conditions.  Launch, recover and sail your board in a controlled manner in winds of up to about a force 3.  Show ability to tack efficiently using power from the rig, use an effective stance on all points of sailing and use basic harness technique.
