Facilities

West Wales Watersports is a fully accredited RYA training centre with highly qualified and experienced instructors. There are a range of courses on offer to cater for all ages and abilities from beginners to experienced sailors. Teaching takes place in the mile wide bay at Dale, and at our Surf School in Newgale, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Dale bay is recognised as one of the safest Watersports locations in the UK. Busy, but not usually crowded, the water quality is good to excellent and is tested regularly. As part of Welsh Water's "Green Seas" initiative there are now ultra violet sterilising plants in place for all the beaches in the area.

The centre is located on the water front and is equipped with changing rooms, showers and a
training room with video, DVD and TV.

We have an extensive storeroom which holds our wetsuits, buoyancy aids and a selection of boards and kayaks. All wetsuits are dunked in a sterilising bin at the end of the day and dried in our drying room.  Rigs are rigged up resort style and parked ready to go.

Sailing boats: we have single handers and catamarans on shore, which are trolley launched from the slipway, and we have Wayfarers on moorings just off shore.
